The First Kano Anti-quakery Walk Takes Place During The Annual Northern Nunsa Convention

The Kano Anti-quackery walk which was carried out along Ibrahim Taiwo junction Kano State was organised by the Northern Nigerian Universities  Nursing Students Association which took place during their annual zonal convention under the chairmanship of  Idris Abdul Ahmed, The secretary General of the Nigerian Universities Nursing Students Association (NUNSA) with the help of some other students in the person of Mubarak Ubale Shuaibu, and Fatima Bello.

The Kano Anti-quakery walk was participated by Students from the following institutions; Bayero University Kano, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, University of Jos, University of Maiduguri, Federal University Birnin Kebbi.

The Kano Anti-quakery walk which took place along Ibrahim Taiwo junction Kano State was led by Idris Abdul Ahmed,  Secretary General of the Nigerian Universities Nursing Students Association (NUNSA) National.

The Kano Anti-quakery walk was started in the morning around 10am, from Ibrahim taiwo Road junction, Kano state. Passed through Beirut Road and then Down to the Ministry of Health, Kano state.

The police during the kano anti-quakery walk also were invite to provide protection and because it's a peaceful rally, the police was invited so as to prevent any chaos from people who are not nurses or part of the walk that will used the crowd to perpetrate their evil act.

The Students were received during the Kano anti-quakery walk by the representatives of both the Commissioner of Health, Kano State and the Director Nursing Service, Kano state.
They were all happy and thanked the organisers of the walk with what they have done at a student level, They urged the students to continue until the zeal and be steadfast in the fight of threat against Nursing as a Profession. They also reiterate their commitment and pledged to join all recognized Nursing bodies to fight against the nurse quacks.


The Students acknowledged Kuyoro-Olatunji Catherine Founder Of Nurses Revolutio For being the initiator of the walk and for giving them the opportunity to serve Nursing and promised to join hands and take nursing to greater heights. 

And they also thanked all nurses revolutionist and nursing group administrators, for being part and parcel of the Kano anti-quakery walk great.
