DELSU Holds Swearing-in and Induction Ceremony for 9th Induction/Oath taking ceremony of graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing Science

It is a thing of joy as the Delta State University Abraka, (Delsu) Nursing Science department conducts her Induction/Oath taking ceremony of the 9th set of qualified BNSc. Nurses.

The vice chancellor Prof Andy Egwunyenga Speaking at the 9th Induction/Oath taking ceremony of graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing Science, the Vice Chancellor of the university congratulated the fresh nurses and encouraged them to continue in well doing and to maintain the nursing ethics and he also said that the Nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria has not relented in supporting the Nursing Science department delta State University since after she received her full accreditation in 2  November 2017.

The Secretary General/Registrar of the NMCN Alh. Faruk Umar Abubakar Who was ably represented by Head, Examination Division Mrs. Mercy A. Nnadi took the fresh nurses on the oath taking.

The Registrar while speaking congratulated the fresh nurses and also encouraged them that as they enter into the labour market they should not forget to always represent the institution in which they where trained and continue to work in line with the oath they took and not to forget the ethics of the profession.

The management of the Delta State University on the occasion rewarded the best graduating student Nrs. Munerat Sule with the sum of #100,000  who graduated with a CGPA of 4.38 and emerged best...

The best graduating student thanked the entire management of the institution for the gift and also gave a special appreciation to God Almighty who saw her and her colleague through the period of training.

It was indeed a tough times, undergoing a Nursing training in Delta State University is not an easy one, remembering those times we could prepare so hard for just text, times came when we where discouraged but we never gave up but we continued to work, knowing that one day our work will pay us. It has indeed payed off.
She also thanked her parents for the guidance and the support throughout the period of 5 years.
